Let me just preface this page by saying this: Some of you may be offended by what I have to say. However, it is the plain and simple truth.

There are only two "religions" that worship a living God; Judaism and Christianity; both being closely intertwined. Christianity being the fulfillment of the prophecies of the Messiah as foretold by Moses and the prophets in the Tanach. The Tanach, which encompasses the Torah, the Neviim and the Ketuvim which is Moses, the Prophets and the writings. There have been over 60 fulfillments of Old Testament prophecies by Jesus Christ, proving that He is the one and only Yeshua, the Messiah and Creator of the universe.

Think about this: As I stated earlier, the religions that worship the God of the bible are the only ones that worship a living God. All other religions worship or highly esteem a man who is dead. Buddha is dead, Mohammed is dead and the other religions worship false gods or idols and either worship creatures (cows, elephants) or objects that were created by the Lord (sun, moon). Romans 1: 22-23, "Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts and creeping things."

  Christ was made human to bear the full weight of our sins on the cross of Calvary. He was fully human and fully God, all at once. He was crucified and then rose again and to this day is alive, sitting at the right hand of the Father on His throne in heaven.

Below I will talk about the problems with modern religions and cults. I will try to keep it as short as possible, so as not to lose you.

The Mormon religion is rooted in racism and ludicrousness. Let me explain: Mormons believe that "God" lives on another planet, called Kolob. The reason God is in parentheses is because they claim it's the same god as the God of the bible, but I will show you in two seconds how it is a false god. So their god lives on Kolob and has sexual relations with hundreds of thousands of women, producing a spirit baby for every person born on the earth. They believe that if a spirit baby is a good spirit baby, it is sent to earth in a white body. If it's a bad spirit baby, it's sent to earth in a black body, saying that all black people bear the mark of Cain, twisting the verse of scripture found in Genesis 4: 15. They believe the mark of Cain is black skin. Have you ever seen a black Mormon? No. They don't exist and Mormons don't tell you this garbage when they knock at your door preaching their twisted gospel.

Side note: Their founder was a man named Joseph Smith, who claimed to be a prophet. He was definitely a prophet, a FALSE prophet. During his life he was married to over 48 women simultaneously and claimed to have been visited by the angel Moroni (maybe he meant moron) and given the pearl of great price and gold plates containing the false book of mormon. I could go on and on, but this pretty much sums it up.

Jehovah's Witnesses (JW's), another cult that claims to be Christian but is definitely NOT. They say all the right things and even say that Jesus Christ is God, but not part of the triune God of the bible. They believe that Christ was once a man (Michael), that became a god. Their basic tenet being, "As Christ once was, so are we. And as Christ is now, so shall we be." They believe that we can become gods. They are not monotheists, they are polytheists disguised as worshippers of the Sovereign Lord of the bible. A huge part of the JW doctrine is that of works. They believe that a person must do good works to get into heaven. The bible teaches the contrary, Ephesians 2:8-9 says, "Salvation is achieved through faith in Jesus Christ. This is not of your own doing, it is God's gift, neither is it a reward for anything you have accomplished, lest any man should boast."

Side note: They use a different bible created by the Watchtower Society containing a twisted version of scripture and have falsely predicted the end of the world on numerous occasions, 1914, 1915, 1918, 1920 1925 and 1975. Matthew 25:13 states, "Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man (Jesus) cometh." No one knows when Jesus will return, JW's are off base on a great number of things.

This is the hardest religion to deal with. There are many Catholics that truly love the Lord, so the foundation is good for reaping the harvest. Let me start by saying this, the word Catholic means universal. The Vatican strives for all of the world's religion to unite, see Pope's comments anywhere if you don't believe me. He wants the world's religions to unite so he can be the most powerful political/religious leader in the world. Sounds crazy right? Well it's true.

There are a ton of problems with Catholic traditions. They just don't match up with scripture. Catholics believe that salvation and heaven is achieved through a mixture of faith and works. This is not so, Ephesians 2:8-9 says, "Salvation is achieved through faith in Jesus Christ. This is not of your own doing, it is God's gift, neither is it a reward for anything you have accomplished, lest any man should boast." Faith alone is the answer. Good works are important and will come as a result of obedience and faith in the Savior, Jesus Christ.

Catholics pray to saints and the virgin Mary. While the virgin Mary is one to be respected, she is not one to be worshiped. Jesus is the only intercessor to the Father. "God is one, one also is the mediator between God and men, the man Jesus Christ." 1 Timothy 2:5, 1 John 2:1.

Mary needed a savior, Luke 1 46-47 states, "And Mary said, my soul doth magnify the Lord, and my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior."

The bible teaches that Jesus cleanses us from sin by the shedding of His blood. Hebrews 9:22 says, "Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness," and Hebrews 10:18 states, "Since these sins have been forgiven, there is no further offering for sin."  Hebrews 1:3 says, "When Jesus had cleansed us from our sins, He took His seat at the right hand of Majesty in heaven." Also, Colossians 1:22 states, Christ...presents you to God holy, free of reproach and blame." The Catholic Church teaches that those who die in "God's grace and friendship, but still imperfectly purified...undergo purification, so as to achieve the holiness necessary to enter the joy of heaven." So basically what the Catholic Church is saying is that Jesus' sacrifice and shedding of blood on the cross was not enough, that we must also be cleansed by fire in purgatory to see God. Purgatory doesn't exist. It's a figment of the Catholic Church's imagination. It's a huge lie perpetrated by the devil that allows everyone to believe that they will enter heaven, so many will not get right with God.

Did you know that the in 1545 A.D., the Catholic Church proclaimed tradition equal with scripture? Yes, it's true. Tradition should never be equal with scripture and Jesus Himself warns us not to follow the traditions of men.

Again, I could go on and on, but I don't have enough room. The bible is the infallible, inerrant word of God. Don't follow the traditions of man.
